Add a new landscape to Terraso Story Maps

To add a new landscape to Terraso Story Maps, follow these instructions.

1. Go to the landscapes directory.
2. Select the “Add Landscape” button
3. Provide a Name and Description for your landscape. (You can also define a Country or Region, and a Website)
4. Select the “Next” button to advance to the next screen
5. On the following screen, choose how you want to describe the location of your landscape. You can
   • Upload a map file: accepted formats are .GeoJSON, .KML, KMZ, and Esri Shapefile
   • Draw a shape: look at a map in Terraso and draw an outline of the boundary.
   • Drop a pin: place a marker in the middle of your landscape.
   • Skip this step: provide no location information. (If this step is selected, the map will center on the full country).
6. (Optional) Provide additional information about your landscape
7. Once you add location information, click “Add Landscape” to add your landscape to the Terraso Directory.
